Kenith Trodd, Producer:
A Selective Retrospective of his work with major screen talent 1969-2004 including Dennis Potter, Simon Gray, Stephen Poliakoff, Pat O’Connor and Christopher Morahan.

Kenith Trodd produced most of Dennis Potter’s memorable work and their association lasted more than 30 years until Potter’s death in 1994. Moonlight on the Highway, their first collaboration on screen prefigures, musically and sexually, some of the themes Potter was to return to constantly in later work. Ian Holm is eerie and superb as a psychically-scarred young man obsessed equally with his own inner demons and the healing glissando of romantic dance music by Al Bowlly and Lew Stone from an era he can scarcely remember.
Before the film Kenith Trodd will attempt an illustrated overview of Dennis Potter’s work in the context of a rapidly evolving entertainment industry. He will also trail the other talents on show during the Trodd retrospective.
