Someone is upsetting the Old Boys of an English public school with apparent threats of blackmail.
Stephen Fry plays Daniel a high-flying barrister deep into the good life. Quass (Simon Callow) is a rich and bizarre recluse, generous, obsessed and sad. This reluctant pair find themselves caught up in an alliance against an ingenious conspiracy which threatens both their lives. Old Flames is Simon Gray at his most playful, supplying an immaculately plotted script and with Christopher Morahan’s smooth direction delivers as engaging and urbane an entertainment as could be wished for.

We hope to welcome the writer Simon Gray and director Christopher Morahan to introduce their film.
