A violent gory French Horror movie that begins like a cop thriller and ends up as a zombie action movie.
When detective Mathias Rivoallan is found murdered by a gang led by Nigerian Markudi (Eriq Ebouaney), detectives Jimenez (Aurélien Recoing), Aurore (Claude Perron), Ouessem (Jean-Pierre Martins) and Tony (Antoine Oppenheim) decide to revenge the death of his friend. The vigilantes plot bloodshed, executing Markudi, his brother Bola (Doudou Masta) and the other gangsters in the abandoned building where they are gathered. However, things soon go wrong when they discover that the building is under siege from a horde of walking dead.
‘The Horde’s’ setting – the dilapidated apartment building where 95% of the film takes place – lends itself to the film’s apocalyptic storyline. As the world crumbles and bursts into massive fireballs around them, our survivors face their own hell in the apartment building. (Subtitles) (With thanks to Momentum Pictures for this preview)
